ANMA – Bluetezeit (Pinecone Moonshine) // Bandcamp

Opening with a single sustained note, you begin to deconstruct its depth and layers. Is this tone inharmonic or just dissonant? The frequencies stretch into the highest registers. After a minute a couple of distorted bass tones appear out of the fog before the piece concludes. The next track blurs repetition and low frequency oscillation. Each of the eight tracks of ANMA’s „Bluetezeit“ is a unique composition exploring timbres and textures.

„Bluetezeit“ was recorded live with no overdubs in two sessions in March and April of 2026 in Innsbruck, Austria. The album was created utilizing the no-input-mixing technique.

No-input-mixing is done by patching an audio mixer’s output back into its input to create a feedback loop. No external audio sources are used, and what you hear are feedback loops plus the internal noise of the mixing desk. You shape the sound through the interaction of the feedback loops and the mixing desk’s EQ, preamp, level, and effects. Find something nice and appealing, bring order to chaos, or just enjoy the beauty of noise and harshness – it is all about decisions.
